Founded by creative professional Samantha Lampson, who has nearly half a decade of experience in theatre marketing, Upstage specializes in helping productions, performers, and organizations bring their stories to life. Samantha has supported everything from local theatre events to major West End concerts, developing a deep understanding of what captivates audiences and drives engagement.
Our journey began with a degree in Music, where a passion for performance naturally evolved into an interest in creative marketing. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Samantha offered graphic design, fundraising support, and strategic marketing guidance to societies and arts groups at a time when they needed it most. After graduating, she worked as Marketing Manager for her local theatre, handling campaign planning, social media management, press coordination, and event promotion. She provided marketing support to acts such as Harry Hill, John Partridge, Aled Jones, Kerry Ellis, Ed Byrne, Mark Steel, Andy Parsons, Fairport Convention, and Craig Revel Horwood, to name a few.
After working on various freelance projects, Upstage recognizes the growing need for reliable marketing and events management support among bands and musical acts. With performers busy rehearsing, touring, and creating, they often need someone to take that extra pressure off and manage their events with care and professionalism.
